The Drawing Supplies I Love and Use Every Day
Here you can find links to all the drawing supplies I love to use. I listed what I use in all my drawing tutorials, what markers and marker paper I like, and my favorite colored pencils and colored pencil paper. I also listed my go-to Ohuhu colors for common car colors like red, yellow, blue, and grey.

What I Use in Every Drawing Tutorial
For all my marker drawings, I use Canson Illustration Manga paper. It makes blending incredibly easy and keeps colors looking smooth.
In early 2025, I switched from Promarkers to Ohuhu Honolulu markers because they offer a much larger, more useful color range at a lower price.
For details, I use Derwent Chromaflow colored pencils. They’re affordable and layer well over markers. And for highlights, my go-to is the white Posca PC-3M, which lasts surprisingly long.

Alcohol Markers & Marker Paper
For my alcohol marker drawing, I use Canson Illustration Manga paper because it makes blending effortless and keeps colors looking clean and even.
I previously used Promarkers, but I switched to Ohuhu Honolulu markers. The expanded color range and lower price make them a much better fit for my drawings
And I store all my markers in the Ohuhu Bamboo Organizer, which keeps everything neatly sorted and easy to grab while I’m working.
Colored Pencils & Paper
For my colored pencil drawings, I like to use a mix of colored pencils. The Faber-Castell Polychromos are very vibrant and great for drawing details. These are the pencils I use most. The Caran d'Ache Luminance are perfect for creating soft color transitions and color very smoothly, but they are more expensive. The Derwent Chromaflow are pretty affordable and still color and blend very well.
A 24-pencil set is more than enough to get started, but larger sets are also available if you want more color options.
For colored pencil paper, I switch back and forth between the Daler & Rowney paper and the Fabriano Accademia paper. They both have a slight grain, which makes them great for colored pencils.

Ohuhu Markers for Common Car Colors
When coloring cars, I have created a few go-to color gradients for the common car colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, white, and grey/black. The colors I listed in the grey and black section are also the colors I use to color the grey and black parts of every car.
