Product Details

The Ferrari Monza SP1 and SP2 are already epic cars to begin with, but when I saw this Monza SP2 in dark blue with this bold red interior I knew I needed to draw it. The thought of drawing it first came to mind when I saw a truly beautiful photo of it in Paris on Instagram about a year ago.

This car is by far my favorite I've made so far. It turned out really well. The reflections look so good, the grey-ish dark blue came out exactly how I wanted, but the thing I am most proud of is the front wheel. The shining silver and the matching brake caliper turned out perfectly.

I made this drawing using alcohol-based markers and high-quality and fade-resistant colored pencils on 200gsm paper.

Chromological Series #8

This drawing holds a distinct place in my Chromological Series, a project capturing a spectrum of cars in color order. This Ferrari is the 8th in the series, representing the 4th of the 5 blue cars.
